My Visit to Laos

During by visit to Laos with an NGO in the interests of development I made a video. Commencing with a view of my hotel, moving to the local hospital, checking out other development opportunities and glimpsing the three wheeler "taxi" we took from the airport we end up waiting for the plane at a local fast food joint. It was sobering to walk among the poppies in that Golden Triangle centre and know that product would end up in our western cities to cause havoc there. These are largely subsistance farmers trying to survive with the only crop they know how to grow.
