My very first ever montage. Fittingly, for the first real person who I've ever considered to be my hero. My Idol.
Sadly our vaulting heros don't get the same amount of fan love as other athletes. Partly I think this is becuse of how close-knit our community is - we think of our idols more as friends than as celebrities - but just becuse you're close to someone dosn't mean you can't still be their fan!!

@AnnaFlight I agree. but it wasn't just talent - it was also passion and dedication. He spent years training to reach that level but never gave up enjoying it even when circomstances were difficult. :)
