The dolls aren't racist and it's perfectly reasonable to use the term in sincerity BUT ONLY IF you are a bit slow.

Anyone with half a brain cell knows that rightly or wrongly there is a proportion of the population who takes offence to the word and therefore it is simply a case of common courtesy (if not the most basic common sense) not to use the word.

Top marks to Kinnock. Shame on Thatcher, who although is technically right, seems also to be technically a bit daft.

You describe Britain as an "invasive disease". Britain gives away literally tens of millions of pounds in aid to poorer countries every year. Not to mention the thousands of British nurses, doctors and care workers who have chosen to work in the third world.

@JaePanache Who is leaving? Some English people choose to leave Britain because they want to experience living in a warmer climate. However, many of them end up returning to the UK after a few years. I don't know of anyone who is unhappy living in the UK. Most people love this country, but hate our politicians. You will find that is the case in most EU countries.
