They were pretty much the same in their culture, tradition and ethnic background!!!!!
Infact many scholars today concluded that the egyptian civilization itself was an extension to a much older civilization from what today is nothern sudan....

oldest pyramids in the world?
If that indeed is true (or at least older than those of egypt) there definitely needs to be a serious revision on the study of that land.Becasue yes people (europeans in particular) tend to down play the sudan although they seem to be basically the same people as the ANCIENT egyptians in every aspect
