well if you knew ANYTHING about the economy, the president doesn't have too much say in it...that would be congress. Sure the president can propose different idea's to them but ultimately they can say what gets passed...it's a little thing called the balance of powers, why hasn't congress done that?  If the war caused our economic downfall why doesn't congress stop funding it? If they did, we would be out of the middle east and our economy would be perfect, right? hahahahaha
