And this would be the reason I am not giving up on MerDer yet. This scene was amazing and sad and I'm glad they they had this fight. In order to move forward, they really needed this.

@Castlegrey100 I have been a loyal fan from the beginning first of all. And they way Shonda was writing them was making it really hard to be a fan. I would never actually give up on MerDer (I have given up on Grey's), but the season finale and the first couple of episodes was making it hard for me to like them. But I still watch all of Merdertruloves8 videos because they are awesome.

hands down the best scene of the season 8. 3.55 minutes of MerDer, wow that must be a record or something.. usually we don't get that much merder in a one episode..

@Arwaty1 Because sometimes there can be qualities about a person, that makes them amazing, and bad to be with all at once. Like Mer's actions were really bad for her and Derek's career, but as a person, it makes her amazing. He see's that. He doesn't actually HATE Mer... he hates what she did/her actions, because it put their livelihoods and the chance of getting Zola back in danger. But also loves that she did what she did because she wouldn't be Mer without doing that.
