2. The Quartz Composer,

@LUKEPENRY ARToolkit using an format *.pat wich describes inner content of pattern. You need to create your own with any available tool, from artoolkit itself or with this online one: flash.tarotaro.org/blog/2008/12/14/artoolkit-marker-generator-online-released/
Then find, where is original pattern in your application and just replace it.
Sorry, but I can not do an perfectly detailed explanation, because I create this tut, one year ago, and forgot most of details.
