New Year 2011 at Boston Common. Thanks so much for your continued support!!!! We have spent much of the year moving from Oregon to Boston and working on other platforms for Emeritus News. We now have the much requested mobile format version WITH NO SPECIAL APPS NEEDED at http://www.emeritusnews.com/m.xhtml . Set it as a favorite, so you won't have to input it each time you want it. It has animated (moving) current national radar and direct links to local forcasts and maps that are always updated by the National Weather Service. The mobile format also features YouTube playbacks of videos we have done as well as those from government and other media sources we know you want to see. In short, make use of those times waiting in lines, break time and other chances you may have to enrich your understanding of information and the issues.
We will concentrate, effective January 7th, on our video products which have been so successful in the past....with the weekly Emeritus Newsbrief anchored by Lynn Huston. We will also be establishing a monthly, long form, 20-30 minute broadcast.
The Emeritus News Channel will pass 1/2 million viewer minutes since it was established 1 1/2 years ago. It continues to be our most visited platform.
