Nothing To Hide

I wrote this song after noticing how the counter culture tries to mask, blanket, and hide almost anything negative within itself, always pointing the finger of blame on corporations and other big outside influences that seem so far away. If we want to become the change we wish to see in the world, we must face our own short comings and shameful deeds. Being real means facing the hard stuff and not pretending like "it's all good". If it's not safe to be honest with one another, how can we stop the big lie of main stream media? This song is about my longing for real change in the world, not just surface smiles that hide the truth inside.
