True, with the Triangle Trade, what the Opium War s did, the American Civil War, American Revolutionary War, the Belgians in the Congo, the British Empire, the Iraq war, the Spanish Empire, the Iran-Iraq War, and so many more in the pursuit of aims that were ultimately more to do with money than freedom or humanity.

Give me three similarities between Socialism and Nazism.
Hitler was anything but a socialist, he dispute the communists and their ideas for example. (Socialism isn't Communism!)
Das Ubermensch and those terrible ideas is actually the opposite about a class-free society..
Yes, the communists did terrible things but that isn't because of the fact that those countries were communist.. (Altough, communism doesn't work, but that's another story)

@OidarylOI I disagree. Vietnam is extremely capitalist now. Just go and visit it, everyone has there own little stall selling things. Cuba on the other hand has made huge progressions in healthcare, education, multi culturalism and living conditins greater than even that of the U.S. However, I would not call it a Communist country.

@woodpod So anything with big governmet is Socialist? I am sorry but are very mistaken. Besides, the number of deaths that Capitalism is responsible for is much higher than any planned economy or social system.

It's worked in Cuba and vietnam? ha, do you know anything about them? poor, the miserable living conditions compared to the U.S. which is by far the world's largest economy, with the highest standard of living. that is without a doubt undeniable. Capitalism lets people succeed who want to put in any effort at all, communism is the opposite, it lets people succeed with minimal effort on their half, they just do what they are told to do.

Communist regemes, in total, killed many times more people than the Nazis did. The USSR shot anybody committing crime, and they sent people they didn't like to go mine salt. Socialism is stupid, in all its forms. Hitler was a socialist, Stalin was a socialist.
