Hers my third cube video after a few months. I advanced to Friedrich now from the beginner's method i used in my previous videos. Now I'm trying blindfold. I used the CD to press the space bar, coz on my first attempt, i actually finished it at about 1 min and 15 sec but i couldn't find the space bar so i couldn't stop it

Anyway,I know there are a few who know how to blindfold solve a cube, and almost half of them brag on other people's BF videos saying either they're better or the video is a fake. And believe me, people love to prove that other people's God given talents are fake.

So lets get somethings clear:
-1. I scrambled the cube in front of the cam so there was no pre memorization process.
-2. I had a timer on which indicates that i didn't edited the video or played it backwards.
-3.I had an improvised front cover other than my blindfolds so no one would say that i was peeking below my blindfolds
-4. and, I don't care if your better than me. Just don't brag about it in my videos.

I guess other than that, your free to say your opinions. I do hope they are positive ones. Just remember this before you post

"Doesn't mean you can't do it, others can't do it either"

  • Anyway, I'm still skeptical. Your memorization time is comparable to mine, and yet speed blindfold involves memorizing a lot more information. Even if you just guessed on OLL, I find it very difficult to believe that you planned out your entire solution AND traced every piece through every move in only 38 seconds.

When you say this was your 8th try, was it your 8th try on this solve? In that case, there was pre-memorization involved; you should be honest in your video description.

  • As much as I respect you for your skills, gave gratitude for your comments, and do my best to answer all your questions even though my English grammar isn't that good, I somehow don't like this line

"you should be honest in your video

    description. "

Is there any reason for me to think about it the wrong way ma'am?

  • thats super cooL!

i dnt care for rubix...but,,,i luv asukal,.haha,.taeh,.okei sa trip den ugh,.*^_^*take it easy,.

  • Hmmm. I'll maybe I'll try. Coz I'm kinda scared to do new methods. Like when i did Friedrich. Now I don't know how to do the last part of the basic method. Lols. I'm scared that that might happen when i try the conventional. Remember?my memorization isn't that good. Specially the long term. hmmm.. Maybe im better at short terms so i can do this (Just talking to myself again) Anyway, ill try to do a conventional video I guess I guess after I make another video on Friedrich.

  • Well, obviously you'd need practice. But I'm just talking about the amount of information you'd need to memorize. If you can do speed blindfold memo in under a minute, I'm curious as to how fast you'd be able to do regular blindfold memo.

  • Actually i didn't do the conventional method coz i just learned it lately. I also have a friend who can do this and he's the one who thought me me how. I was not until recently that I discovered about the other methods.

Being a cake: (Ex. not blindfold solving)

If my method was Rux and a guy doing Friedrich came to me and say if you can do Rux that fast, Fiedrich would be a cake for you.

Hmm. No. Maybe if I study, practice, and practice more with it I can. But then i would forget my old method

  • I'm surprised you don't do "conventional" BLD. It's a lot less to memorize, and if you can memorize for speed BLD as fast as this, regular BLD memo should be cake for you.

  • When I said 8th try, It means that my first to seventh tries was a failure. The 8th is what's in the video. I know it sucks to DNF 7 consecutive times just because I didnt' focused on my memorization and just thought of speed, but I knew it would be awesome to if i could get one fast solve on video.Well, i did

All tries was randomly scrambled it means 8 individual cases. 1/8 success. And i still think it was luck.

  • 1.The solve was actually my 1st successful solve in 8 tries(all scrambled randomly)

2.Normally while solving, you would look for step (memorize).look for step 2(memorize 1&2).Then step 1(memorize 1,2&3)and so on.

    Yes accurate.Yes consistent.Yes hard

What i did was memorize the whole solve without going back(like1.then 2.then 3 without thinking "what was 1 again?" I call it the "Come What May Method"(joke)

High DNF average. High tendency to be distracted. Need God's help..but Yes, faster

  • Q#1: Consistency in accuracy and time?I guess I'm not that consistent ma'am.If you you would scramble he cube and let me solve it SBF(as you call it ma'am), and my MAJOR goal would be to solve it fast.(like in the video) The probability would be at least 1 successful solve in maybe 8 to 10 tries.(that's by experience in making this video).

  • HOLY CRAP!! your the rubic chick who did the 4x4x4 blindfolds. I always watch your video. your one of my inspiration why i did one of my own.
