Xavier teacher fired for sleep over

Nearly 100 students rallied Monday at Xavier High School for a teacher they believe is being unfairly let go. Students say the school is not renewing the teaching contract for Xavier's varsity baseball coach Matt Prill, because the school says he stayed one night at his girlfriend's house, which is against Catholic teaching, and a violation of the contract he signed with the school. FOX 11's Evan Perrault brings us balanced coverage.

You know, heres something they should think about:

When you sign a contract for a school, is it a contract for how you need to act eveerywhere and anywhere?

things like this prove the evil of society lies within the highly religous. It's not moral to have to many/un needed rules, its cruel.

In my 10 years in the teaching and coaching field and my 15 years in the fitness industry, I have yet to come across a more caring and charismatic professional than Matt Prill. Although we have not spoken in several years, the reaction of his students tells me that he is still as genuine and caring as always. I wish him nothing but the best and know he will land on his feet and most likely in a better working environment.... perhaps one that has emerged from the dark ages.
