On this video, Word 2008 looks quite slow particularly when the presenter moves and resize the pictures.

I hope that it'll get heavily optimized until the public availability of the product.

As much as I hate Microsoft Office, this looks pretty impressive. If the price is reasonable, it might be worth the purchase. Then again, there is not much more to Office '08 that iWork '08 doesn't have.
