Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College program provides high-school age students the opportunity to experience college life at a major university. The six-week program program draws over 450 students each summer. Students can explore architecture, art, design, drama, music or the National High School Game Academy to prepare for study at the college level.

Can anyone give me a PSAT score that is required for admission into any of CMU's summer programs?

I went to the NHSGA and it was an amazing experiance. If you can pay for it, I would say go. While you don't get college credit you gain life experiance and while you may think that making games is easy now.....trust me. Its a shit load of work

What is it exactly like? I want to become a game designer (more art side) and I'm really interested in taking some precollege courses on it, but is CM's really great? For the NHSG, it's around 5k, and I live in California, so that's not including round trip airfare.
