it's really amazing how a simple gesture like a hug could make someone open their heart to you, i have a friend who hated me at one point. i gave her a hug and asked her what was wrong, even after she slapped me and called me a creep. But after that one little question she hugged me, cried and poured out her heart about how abusive her parents were and how she felt like she couldn't do anything. I told her she was perfect the way she was and her parents were stupid. Now she's my best friend.

*tears up* this video was so sad and so moving!! That man is amazing!! To those people, of those who hugged him, how many really needed it? I bet all of them went home still smiling. I'm going to try and do this at my school and get a shirt with it. I wish the world could be more like this, more compassionate!! Those who turned away were simply afraid of the stereotypes or of being robbed. Is that what we have fallen to? Afraid of a free hug from a compassionate man? Shame on us!

^ ^ I made a Free Hug sign at my school because of this... It's really inspiring... One kind gesture can really change someone's day... It's incredible... You have to hand it to him... He's a genius for doing such a kind thing...
