The book of Hebrews. Who authored it? Where does it fit doctrinally?
Who are the Hebrews? Old testament saints? New testament saints?
Tribulation saints?
And how about Hebrews chapter SIX and TEN, verses which appear to teach that
salvation can be LOST.
Make sure you RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD concerning the book of HEBREWS

  • Hebrews was written to the Jews and it's NOT doctrine for the Body of Christ.

  • Hi Brother, thanks for your comment.

How about 1 Peter? Only to the Jews?

  • Paul refers to the milk of the word in 1 Cor 3. Peter refers to the milk of the word in 1 Peter 2:2. The writer of Hebrews EXPLAINS what the MILK of the word is in Hebrews 5 and 6. The milk of the word for babes in Christ who are born again 1 Peter 1:23 who are in the body of Christ.

If Hebrews is not doctrine for the body of Christ then what is the milk of the word Paul talks about in 1 Cor 3? What is the milk of the word that Peter tells us to desire?

I like your videos Brother. Thanks,

  • IF PAUL WROTE IT DON'T BELIEVE IT...

  • Refreshing accuracy Matt, many like to dismiss this book as "not to me".

A few of my favorite bible truths come from this book:

4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the

feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we

    are, yet without sin.

4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may

obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

    Thankyou.

  • Real well. I am looking forward to more lesson in Hebrews. Not many get Heb.6 correct as you did. It has to do with spiritual growth, not salvation.
