A plea from Carnie and Wendy Wilson to try and re-unite with their father, Brian Wilson of the 1960's Beach Boys fame. A powerful song of pain and longing between two daughters and their father.
Brian's problems are more of a mental disease, a person who adopts 4 children and genually wants to see a better world cann't be bad. He was ill advised and misdiagnosed and Landy really used him. As a performer he is like a deer hit by lights.
this song makes me feel how my releationship i have with my parents i cry every single time i hear it we stoped talking after i found out i was pregnant at 18 they said i was too young so they didnt want nothing to do with me but then my sister got pregnant at 15 and they support her i dont get it it gets me every time
This song so reminds me of the relationship I had with my father. Thankfully, I had healed enough that he walked me down the aisle at my wedding. Because 11 months he was dead. I am so gratefu I was able to give that gift to him and I :)
I agree with MusicAfrica. Brian was never been a seriousdrug addict. He was mentally ill. That was two different things. Thanks for posting the song though,
Brian Wilson did not have a serious drug addiction problem. He was chronically ill with an emotional disorder and received the wrong treatment for it for years. Please do not characterise him as an addict - he was not.
God love those absent parents. Brian is an awesome artist, but could use some pointers in the parenting department. I am not speaking for all....but this is one of the reasons that women choose "unavailable" or "other wise" engaged men.

@ThePeacepoet Don't know if you have seen the biography, but if you haven't, go here on you tube:
BW Bio pt.1
There are many parts to it. Very good biography.
