Uhm, the reason we've never beat you is because we've only played you once.

Do they teach history at K-State???

Hmm, well they never actually said how many times we had ever played them on TV, but you know, Auburn was good back then as well and K-State was infamous for being so bad, there is a reason why were the best college football turnaround story ever. So those were actually some of the closest games we had prob that season. Real K-State football history begins with Snyder.

Actually, Auburn was mediocre in the late 70s. Legendary coach Shug Jordan had retired in '75 and legendary coach Pat Dye wouldn't be hired until '81. Auburn was in the midst of their longest losing streak against Alabama.
Auburn football history begins in 1892, origin of "WAR EAGLE" and the 1st victory over our oldest rival, Georgia.
Do some research before you just start posting inaccurate comments.
Good game on The Plains. I found the K-State fans to be quite nice.
