The Brothers of the Theta Sigma chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha present Bike A Thon 2009 for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP)
The task: Travel 400+ miles from Winthrop University in Rock Hill SC to UCP headquarters in Washington DC, all on a bicycle.
The trip in total lasted three days and brought the Brothers through three different states. Biking day and night the momentum never once died, even with freezing temperatures, angry drivers, and cramped conditions. The mission was well worth it. In total we raised over 8000 dollars for UCP and plan to do it even bigger next year. It's what we do.
