@67mustangreg Its funny because i use to walk around in the early 70s with t-shirts that always had mustangs on them, i just liked mustangs. so i end up driving down a street and there one is! I had no idea that the 390 would be a big deal and i had no idea that steve mcqueens car was a 68GT with the 390. My car sat until 2005 when i finally had the money to put into it. Never found a build sheet however, cant figure that one out. Imagine the owner was going to junk the car!

ok i think we can all agree that we would take a clone

Finally, its nice to see a shelby that hasn't been turned into an Eleanor replica! beautiful car.

Very nice job but he should have changed it to an inboard lights car just for the sweeter look!

The fastback mustang design is truly timeless. I am the proud owner of a 68 GT 390 fastback, royal maroon. I was riding my motorcycle in pomona, ca. in 1985 when i see the car with the front lifted on blocks and the C6 on the ground. I knock on the door of the house and ask the owner about it, he tells me if i can get it running i can have it for 200!! I borrowed the cash from dad and got it running! still have it to this day(restored ofcourse) It was sold at rommy hanes in indiana.

Fake. Interior isn't Shelby and only the rim in the trunk is authentic.

Cool, my mom had a '66 Gt350 back in the eighties too. It was a white fastback with guardsman blue stripes.
