Guitar collection update (1984 Westone Electra Dynasty XV3GR Flying V)

trying out my new/old guitar, a made in japan Westone Electra Dynasty XV3GR Flying V. got this one way back in 2002 then gave it to my friend in 05, he didn't want it and shit so i got it back and put some ernie ball super slinkys on it.

just testing out different tones and settings and shit. really good action and really easy to play sitting or standing.

it has a whammy bar, and the tone knobs pull out to get different tones. for the life of me i'm not all together sure what exactly they do. if i pull the bottom tone knob out and select the bridge pickup it makes it sound crisper, if i pull the middle knob out it selects the middle pick up and gives the guitar a louder tone with more bass. as far as i can tell, pulling out the volume knob does dick.

this guitar is WAY heavier than my ibanez dt200 destroyer considering the size.

volume is coil tap makes humbuckers single coils,tone 1 does as you say turns on middle p/u, tone 2 is phase switch on bridge p/u hence bright tone. I've had one of the psuedo sg's for years you can get some nice sounds but they have to have the unbalanced pickups to get full range as intended. had a hot DiMarzio in it awhile and it threw off the tones (rocked hard though hehe) sweet flying v =)

@steelebladesnorust actually after some fooling around i've found out that the scooped out sound only happens if the both the tones are pulled out and thanks, it was a really nice score from a pawn shop.
