  • I HAVE A QUESTION, I HAVE THE SAME MACBOOK PRO, CAN I INSTALL 2 memory ram of 4gb (total 8gb) is compatible? or not

  • @crowas89 Check Edge's memory configurator. It should tell you how much RAM your system supports.

  • Very helpful. I have macbook pro intel core duo from 07. Snow Leopard. I used Aimersoft dvd creator a few times successfully, and now it crashes my computer. Shuts it completely off. I was told my computer can't handle it. Why would it be fine the first few times then? I was thinking of upgrading the RAM to help with the processing speed so it won't crash. Think that will fix it? If it has 2g (stock) now, can I put in 2 - 2G cards and have 4G total? I'm such a newbie to this stuff.

  • @crowas89 I'm having the same problem. Once i remove the new memory module it works fine. Now the question is...is there something wrong with the memory module or should i go to an apple specialist? how did you fix this problem?

  • Where u get the battery's

  • @crowas89 Did you check how much RAM your system can handle? Go to Edge's memory configurator to see.

  • @crowas89 Is it working now? I'm not sure but changing the RAM memory shouldn't affect much, if I'm not wrong the operative systems of nowadays allow RAM memory expansion without the need to re-install the OS. Maybe your RAM was defective?

  • @Fperez28B Mine is from 2006, i tried to put 4gb to my mac and when i installed the memory ram my screen of my mac become black,,, :/

  • @crowas89 Yeah 8gb is compatible

  • Thanks Drew! You saved me $40.
