March Forth! in the Procession for the Future

The Backbone Campaign and our movement partners present the Procession for the Future, a creative organizing tool inspire, educate and train students, youth and concerned citizens to be more effective activists in this crucial election year. The Procession for the Future is a touring parade, using high production value art and spectacle to animate our aspirations and deliver a compelling progressive vision for the country. The 8-12 giant puppets and floats will portray a set of progressive policy priorities, such as:
Fair Trade, Living Wage Jobs & Healthy Local Economies
Climate Stabilization, Ecological Sustainability & Renewable Energy
End of War, Dismantling of Empire & the Military Industrial Complex
Election Integrity & Renewal of Democracy
Housing, Education and Health Care for All
Humane & Fair Immigration Policy
Celebration of Diversity & Elimination of Racial Disparities
Governmental Accountability and Transparency

I'm also hoping by fair immigration policy, you mean crack down on illegal immigration and give every one around the world an equal opportunity to come to the US.

Google gini coefficient. My relatives in Chile are worse off than the people in Mexico.  So are people in Africa, but they are geographically disadvantaged when it comes to making it to the US. The labor competition is also devastating to the poorest people of the US. Help Mexico by getting rid of NAFTA Google Berny Sanders NAFTA

It sounds like a you have many great goals, but I'll be honest, I question the stabilizing the climate goal. People like to say that religious wackos are the only ones who question climate change. I'm not one of them. Google Mars and global warming. Mars is warming up too. Whether partners cycle over long periods of time. You can't look at the last 20 or even 100 years, and say you've proved climate change.  I'm all for electric cars and eliminating coal powered electric plants.
