  • Great job! You've inspired me. The next time I go to an island, I'm taking several trash bags with me. Thanks for caring!

  • This makes me happy!

  • I'm SOOO encouraged! I walk to the cove to enjoy the sunrise, have a thermos of coffee, and spend time with my Maker. On my way back to the apartment complex, I take a kitchen bag of trash out. I took out 13 bags in fall of 2009. I'ts too muddy right now, but I'll start my spring round soon. It's great to know I'm in the company of George, Max(!)., Melissa, James, Chris and Tim

  • Good for you guys. We fish there all the time and it makes me sick how much trash these pigs leave around. We have gone camping and pulled out dozens of bags of trash to make it worthy to set up a tent. Any time you need a hand, send me an e-mail.

  • where is tva in all this? they don't quite understande how much trash gets gets spread.

  • I feel the same as kittenshuga. I wish I could help you guys, but I live too far away.. :)

  • Rubber gloves are another good idea.... I am amazed at how disgusting some people are... lets hope the culprits get some bad news today!!!

  • Great job! Too bad you cant make the water cleaner, I havent dipped a toe in percy priest since I was a kid.

    Thanks!

  • Wow!! Mad props to all of you -- You all ROCK! It's sad that people leave their garbage to spoil nature for everyone, but then people (and dogs) like you are so giving to do right by the earth and everyone who will enjoy such a nice spot. It's all of our home, and I hope future visitors will all have respect. Thanks so much!!!

  • only took us a few hours and what a difference! looking forward to the next one. george
