  • @MrTARDISreviews you NEED to be part of TGWTG!

  • @jaws33321 Well, why don't you send Rob or Doug Walker an e-mail recommending me? =) I know that sounds like shameless self promotion but that's because it is XD

  • Oh man...that intro was hilarious.

I love the sinister way depict Daleks in this episode. For me, the Daleks have incrementally gone downhill every single one of their stories after this one hitting a new low in Victory. They need a reboot....I want them to scare me again.

I'm not a huge fan of the sentimentality in much of the Rose era but I really didn't mind it in Dalek, it made sense story wise.

HEY! We're not ALL evil! LOL!

    Great review man!

  • @TheDoctorWhoNerd Actually i think that the daleks hit a new low in 'Journey's End' before SLIGHTLY improving in Victory. But yeah, the point still stands. And i'm glad you didn't hate on me for the WhoviansUSA reference =P I was worried i might have to put up disclaimers =D

  • Cracking review, very accurate, i thought 'Dalek' was spoiled though by the next time trailer in the last episode and the title, it would have been so much better if it was a suprise that the dalek was in it.

  • @BenJebusWard In fairness, the jury was still out on whether this series or not would continue to find an audience. I remember the week this episode came out, every television magazine in sight had a dalek on it's cover. I understand that a suprised would have been amazing, but they needed this episode to be a success.

  • Very good review. I felt this episode was CE at his best and his rage sets him apart from all the other Doctors here and that's what he excels at. Of all the Doctor's incarnations CE gets across that he was clearly the Doctor that either fought in or ended (assuming he got killed and regenerated) the time war. And for me this was the best Dalek episode, Daleks in Manhattan was just a pile of boring badness. As of then they've never been as threatening. However Victory was an improvement for me

  • A twelve certificate? NO, now I can't watch it. Mary Whitehouse would be horrified ;)

  • There is a video game actually :D

You play this Dalek trying to escape. It's a really good game and it's on the BBC Website.

  • I feel like I should know this ... but which companion of the Doctor's do the Daleks kill?

  • Why haven't you done a reviw on any of series four, that, in my opinion is david tennant's best season with one of the most memorable finales ever, that was one of the best davros introductions I have ever seen. In fact that should be a top five video on its own Top Five Davros Reveals.

  • this is a video game on the bbc website

  • You've missed the point a bit; it isn't that the Doctor is in danger of becoming that which he wants to destroy; it's that he ALREADY IS. The Ninth Doctor's entire character is the manic grin and cheery wave veiling the tortured self-loathing of what he had to do to end the Time War. Rose is the crutch that keeps him going until he can come to terms with himself; a healing process that only a healing process that only truly begins with his regeneration and is still ongoing.

  • oh my fellow Doctor fan, THEY SHOULD MAKE A DALEK ORIENTED GAME !!!!!

  • @MrTARDISreviews @4:11, That's not ignorance, that's just her hormones talking.

  • @MrTARDISreviews Actually, you could upload some of your episodes on TGWTG.com's community videos. If it gains recognition there, then it'll get the producer's attention.
