I'm an American. I am well aware of our imperialistic notions. I believe that the U.S. needs to stop trying to intervene with the agendas of other countries. The problem is, we are a superpower and we are trying to stay that way. usually countries destroy themselves by trying to maintain such a title and i believe the U.S. is on the way to it's own destruction if it maintains the same policies. The U.S. will fall, not from other powers, but it's own.

Rational isolationism is the way to go for the United States. America first! No more costly wars. Get out of Iraq and Afghanistan. No more American imperialism and "nation building." Much of the world will appreciate that. Get out of NATO (although Europe won't like that) and the U.N. No more foreign aid (even to Israel, and especially to hostile nations). No more immigration and costly immigrants. Cut other spending and get that national debt paid down!
