@hagtar12 ya man after you tune with the normal tuners and have adjusted the spring tension etc then you clam down the nut which bends your notes slightly sharp then you you use the knobs(fine tuners) to make the minor adjustments required to get back in tune and you may go slightly flat after extreme whammy bar use so you can use the fine tuners to tune up again without unclamping the nut

hey i have a san dimas style 1-hss on the way and had a floyd rose quest. The knobs along the top and back of the floyd, are they for tuning when the nut lock is on?
