Thank you so much for posting. This is as touching now as it would have been then. What a genius was Django, among mighty players. To see them so full of emotion and determined to give the music the joy that Django did, that they did when he was still alive ... how precious.

my god, that's not true. in fact, django died at 43. and recorded minor swing at 39.

My God, they're all so young! Stephane Grappelli looks about 20! It's hard to believe that people like Mozart, Reinhardt and Gershwin all died in their 30s. What a waste - can you imagine what else we would have had if they had lived longer? Thank you for this - a real treat!
