Hannah McAndrew Slipware Potter, slip trailing a tapered jug. The jug was thrown in red earthenware and has been covered with a layer of white slip before the decoration is trailed on in black slip.

  • Hi Susan,

This is trailing the black slip onto a layer of white slip which is covering the unfired pot. You can trail onto bisque with engobes I believe but I don't know very much about it I'm afraid.
