AMERICA IN PRIMETIME is launched as a series of four one-hour episodes, with the
potential for many others to follow. The programs will explore primetime entertainment TV through the characters who have defined it in the past, and who populate it today. The
evolution of character types from show to show, genre to genre, offers a compelling and organic way to explore the history of our societies and explain how we've arrived where we are today. We share the struggles of the characters, their successes and dilemmas and accomplishments. They reflect us, and we them.
