RCT3 Roller Coaster Tycoon 3-Five Years of "Blue Lights" - a dedication

This video was really for me, so some of you will not really care for it.

Blue Lights was my first ever Corkscrew coaster that I built in RCT3 when I bought the game, named of course after the song you are hearing by Fictional (a side project of Funkervogt).

I built it for my first custom scenerio, "Islands of Penelope." It is only a simple 6 inversion Arrow Corkscrew coaster that tended to find itself in a bunch of my parks, largely unmodified, and rarely themed. Due to time restraints, I only showed the major parks that it was included in, the original Venay (aka "old Venay") you will see parts of only in my Lost Trace vids because it was the precursor/practice park to that which received 3 vids on Youtube.

Also, this was the first coaster of mine to get custom supports, which you see in the Venay park. I was just learning to use them and only 1 set was available back then, so they look like crap LOL.

However, when building Catopia, I was not concerned about Grand Coasters, just small fun ones...and sure enough, Blue Lights found a home in the park near the entrance. The problem was, aside from the small amount of theming it had in the original Venay Park, I had never really put effort into theming it, so I had to create something that matched the theme of the park. I think it was mildly successful.

The ONLY changes Blue Lights received in the Catopia park was an added brake run (basically I deleted the original station parts--hell it was too long running two trains in the station anyhow), and this brake run doubles as the transfer track to the storage building for the "3rd" train.

Well, that's probably enough, this coaster and I go back 5 years, and though it is simple, I still love it as much as, if not more than some of the ones on here that received videos.
