G.F.A advanced systems (G.F.A stands for "Grow Fish Anywhere") has developed, implemented and operates a unique fully closed, zero discharge intensive aquaculture system that is suitable both for fresh and sea water fish.

The system is based on an extensive research done by Prof. Jaap van Rijn of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The system prevents environmental pollution, and can operate in any climate regardless of the availability of water resource or proximity to the sea.

The system has been tested and proven on a scientific basis and is now in first steps of operated commercially. The company aims to lead the market of intensive aquaculture systems by setting up a worldwide network of joint ventures while selling the zero discharge intensive aquaculture system as well as operating a fully own farm where possible.

This film is from the farm in Israel (R&D mini site). Also see films under "LOCAL OCEAN", Which is the US joint venture in the US
