My House in Thailand, 1 hour flight to Ubon Ratchathani from Bangkok, and then 1 hour by car going north. Its a small village called Nong Wang, i am the only westerner in the village, and i am the only person who can speak English! Very friendly fun loving people and i love living there!

  • The building cost about 700,000 baht incl labour. Of course the wall is more, another 100,000 baht. All depends what materials used etc, can be done alot cheaper if you use the materials what the locals use. If you need any help just ask .

  • Nice bungalow, hoping to do the same with my girlfriend next year hopefully.

  • Nice house mate! Happy living there?

  • How much it cost to built a house like that?

  • @gjk7777 we're thinking of building one day in roi-et. but probably our first house in one of the estates nearby the city center. once we are established there and have some money to play with years from now, i would plan to build a 'dream house' on our own. still just dreams right now.

  • Nice home Gavin, well planned and hope to follow in your footseps soon, chock dee!

  • Nice house. Thanks for posting the tour. It's always interesting to see where other people are living around Thailand.

  • richtig schön.

  • @sterg2551 Works out alot more if you buy into one of those estates, I didn't fancy neighbours all around me. It's just a matter of finding a good builder, it's best to ask around in the neighbouring villages,I was lucky as my builder was a family friend and built mine very cheap, I highly recommened my builder he did a great job.

  • @gjk7777 Will be our first house. Prob buy in one of those estates and tweak their plans a bit. Don't think we could do it all from scratch at this point. Any suggestions?
