  • To exist you do not need the confirmation of others, you just say "I exist." and then you do. Kwanzaa exists because we say it exists. I mean, it was either this or believing that I was supposed to let some man in a red suit- who didn't look like me or any member of my family- break into my house and eat my cookies every year ...exactly and I love cookies!

  • @sailmyboat21 Smfh, Kwanzaa is a celebration that was created for African Americans in the 60's to celebrate our culture and heritage.. it's made as an addition to Xmas, not a substitute.. so we wouldn't feel a need to choose between the two and can celebrate both.
