I thought the movie would be REALLY BAD and after seeing it I have to say that it was BAD but not THAT BAD

and they are going to follow up with a sequel even through the boxoffice gross they only just barely made the cut (not including the marketing budget). They movie was awful imo, the special effects were cheesy, and seriously were the computer generated effects needed for the mask? They rest of his face was entirely recognizable. The plot needed much tweaking, and dialouges are laughable.

It's not so much a terrible movie. You have to have read the comics, and had a good knowledge of the green lantern history to enjoy it more. I didn't have to much knowledge, but I thought it was mediocre.

this movie was fucking good.... all critics talk shit..unless the film production pays for advertise within the critics once i listen a critic about a movie which he said it was good just to find out it was shit

You do got a point that the acting was bad. But it had some cool parts to it didnt blow my mind like other comic book films have plus this is DC not marvel. I wouldnt of gave it suckage just alright maybe a dvd rental. If you notices there was a hint of the superman theme within some of the scences when green lantern enters a place..
