AP carry is the type of Ezreal I used to play. I personally find my ult to do MASSIVE amounts of damage when I play AP and shit damage when AD.

@zaronax Well the ult is magic damage, so even though it scales decently with attack damage, you still are most likely building armor pen if you are building AD ez, which doesn't really help with the ult. Also, you are going to get better bonus damage on your ult if you pick ap, even though the ratio isn't 1:1, its a lot easier to stockpile AP than it is AD.

for example if you're doing really well with AD ezreal you may achieve 400+ AD by the end, where base 47.2 +3 per clvl = 101.2 at lvl 18 400 - 101.2 = 298.8 bonus AD = +298.8 to ult, not too shabby. lets say you're doing really well with AP ezreal, you may achieve 700+ AP, where 700(.9) = +630 to ult. so at the end of the day, in the example case not only will you have about 330 more damage, but you are also most likely building magic pen, which honestly makes all the difference
