It's the Season Finale of Bullet Heaven! In this episode, we take a look at the TurboGrafx-16 hit Air "Zonk", released in 1992 by Hudson. Not only did this game show just what the TurboGrafx-16 could do, it has also been an absolute favorite of many of the few who have played it... but has it stood the test of time?

ID LIKE TO THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU OUT THERE FOR MAKING BULLET HEAVEN A SUCCESS FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS! SEE YOU IN SEASON 3!!

  • Why is this show, so god damn awesome.

I have a very small turbo grafx 16 collection, but thankfully one of the few games I own for the system is this one. Unfortunately I haven't played it but like many video games in my collection, it will be played.

  • @TheCompletionist Your mission is complete then. Well, almost. Play it ASAP!

  • Its a real shame that Konami have now closed down Hudson soft :(

I'm gonna play this game in tribute to them

  • @malducci @Gunmetalhed Bullet Heaven brings everyone together! =D

  • @Gunmetalhed So now you're talking to me again? :)

  • @malducci Ha he told you....lol

  • @gmintyfresh When my friend and I tried to beat it when I lived in Quebec, we never could. Heck, we never even really made it to the final boss more than once or twice. It wouldn't be until about five years after I moved that I'd finally complete the game when I tracked down my own TG16 and copy of Air Zonk......

  • Stunning game and one I always forget about it truly is a technical marvel, it also gets bloody tough later on! Great overview as always mate

  • @Serraxor Funny, since someone on YouTube has uploaded a 24-minute gameplay video of Radiant Silvergun on XBLA before it officially got released, although the uploader's TV was flickering and acting up one some parts for the video. Here's the video:
