@750BruteForce4x4i No one should forget what Stalin and russkies did in Soviet Union, killed even more civilians than Hitler did. But of course everyone only remembers what happened in Germany as winner writes the history. And anyway normal germans had no other choice than fight, if you didnt fight you got shot. Only SS and those special troops were real nazis and committed those crimes.

There is still no German patriotism at all, due to this burden.

Just as a little math example. when columbus arrived in the new world, there were about 60 million natives in north and south america. by approximately 1600, 90% of them were dead. Work out the numbers.

But what is it that you want? just declare germans evil? just look down on them and say they are bad?

Did you ever hear about the American settlement? Do you know how native Americans were treated there, for no reason? Do you know what the spanish conquerors did to south american higher cultures?

do you know how coloured people suffered in the US?

The world is a somewhat terrifying place.

The Wehrmacht of WW2 is not the only bad thing.

I also am very sure that the pilots of the bombers of nagasaki and hiroshima, or vietnam f4 phantom pilots knew about what they did. They mostly did obey orders, that's what you do as soldier. I believe only people with very strong character would really disobey if they found themselves in such important decisions.

Just be grateful not grow or have grown up in these dark times.
