In 2010 the Prep and Year 1 classes created a story dance to the opening music from the Prince of Egypt. This was performed in front of an appreciative audience of parents and students, and later a requested performance in a local park for a Children's Week celebration. I was stunned by how well the children learned the choreography and how much emotion they could display within the music. They taught me to raise the bar of expectation when it comes to drama with young children. Watching them perform this work of performance art is one of the highlights of my life. I was a very proud teacher.
