  • Stall speed is slightly dependant on the weight.... and our ASI is not steady at the stall, so can read between 40 - 48 . Using 1.3 times 50 gives 65mph, add 5 mph as safety factor, hence app. flown at Indicated 70mph.

  • If you can land the airplane, it can be stalled on, no matter the length. Slow down your approach on short final. Luscombes like stall at 43 or something, 70 is plenty for that thing.

  • awesome! did you do this in powerpoint? Damn good landing...no flare huh? Hanging it on the edge?
