Thanks Ubuntu 8.04 has solved my problems!
But I also switched to Mandriva 2008 One Spring edition, it is better from direkt switch from windows! And also has this nice eye cadies too!

Is it really this smooth? Have you noticed any tearing or flickering, especially when playing video?

hi,I had installed ubuntu 7.10, but when I installed that video card(hd2600) it doesn't work anymore :S, you know any solution?

just use the restricted drivers manager.

Hello I have similar spec's:
Ubuntu 7.10 x64
C2D E4400 @2.5Ghz
HD2600XT
But I can't install ATI drivers on it!
Every time I try it says wrong file system or coding forat or so!
I downloaded the driver's from ATI's site Linux_64/Radeon/HD2600
Try another coding type?????
Any Idear's? :(
