scariest part was when the guy was like, "shouldn't they have made more notches?"
-
Am I the only one who feels extremely disturbed after watching this? It's depressing.
-
this is some of the most komplex stuff ever.. and derren just plays with it. Absolutely amazing !
-
I recommend his book 'Tricks of the Mind' - it's full of neat explanations about how to do the stuff he does, and it's written in a very witty style.
-
"I'm quite happy to go on, but should someone check on him?" Milgram experiment FTW
-
Maybe the whole documentation is fake and he wants us to believe that we are able to steal ! So one day he will trigger us ! Think about that shit ;-)
-
Lesson--Derren Brown fucks with you and you will love it.
-
She stole Marmite?! That's insane.
-
Watching the woman try to steal is so painful to watch haha
-
I <3 this guy. British tv shits all over australian tv
-
33:50 FUS-ROH-DUH!!!
-
this is like some fightclub shit
-
The coolest thing ever! but very scary to se how our subconscious can pick upp on so small details.. The Guy that gave the whole voltage in the millgram experiment was the only one that didnt do the heist, i would have guessed the opposit... Lol if they dont get fully reprogramed and hear the song again:o

"If you've got family..." lol

@GabeHathouse I think there's a bit of what magicians call "instant stooge" effect. They're not set up ahead of time, but it's when people play along because they know they're supposed to and don't want to be jerks.
If you've ever seen the Penn & Teller card trick with the knife (look up "Teller stabs Penn" for a recent version), they call out this very effect on shuffling. Granted it's not armed robbery but there's no prep or screening either. This was interesting but not quite "programming."
-
Wow. This is truly incredible how people can be programed to do pretty much anything.
-
@cartesiaLive AKA "religious people".
-
@GabeHathouse dont forget that they pre-test the people on the show for suggestibility/etc, so we're dealing only with the easiest people to con in humanity
-
Love this guy but I'm not buying this episode....
Every person who works in government should be forced to go through this training.
