  • If a request is made to the Dept. of Justice by the Secretary of the Interior to initiate legal action against the State of Hawaii, we would review the request to determine if the case has legal merit and factural support. If we find that a meritorious case exists we would file an action. Breach of Trust brought to the forefront by Native Hawaiian women of Waianae, Waimanalo, Papakolea, Nanakuli and Hauula August 13, 1979 an understanding of this case may bring light to National Heritage rag.

  • Too little too late, this discussion is mute at this time. but if one can continue to educate maybe Free Hawaii and or Independence Hawaii is plausible. Breach of Trust Hawaii a tort case, speaks to D of I and Native Hawaiian Lands relationship. The outcome was a watered down version of Article 12, we just have to keep practicing and accessing our rights from Mauka to Makai or the other way around and keep the family in the mix. Not capitalism, corporations, state agencies and their soilders.

  • what a joke

  • Part of this stems from the long-term Democrat stranglehold on Hawai'i. Whether you like the Republicans or not, too much power concentrated in the Democrats' hands has led to inefficiency and corruption. It's time for some balance. ='[.]'=

  • Aloha,

Mahalo for the information and heads-up. I have emailed the US gov here that I do NOT support in any way, shape, or form the NHA in Hawai'i period! Mahalo...and especially for 'Iolani Palace!
