nah i say it's Last of the Mohicans than DWW and a bit of Princess Mononoke and the 1973 cult animated classic Fantastic Planet

He actually said in the movie that he could get the scars removed but he left them their so he can be reminded everyday. and for the paralysis, jake didn't have the money for the surgery or whatever. why else would he go to pandoro? they were going to pay him good and fix his legs.

avatar is hands down the best movie of the decade. i cant stop thinking about it and how much the navi are the most awesome race of creatures ever! i hope this comes out on bluray soon!!

if stem cells take off (all ethics aside, just hypothetical), they have promise to fix problems like that and mend the nerve damage (not a doctor thou)
