Me and my brother have been hiking up here for many years and have found much beauty, peace and tranquility in these mountains. This place is one of the most special spots in NY state.

You are one lucky guy to have that much beauty in your back yard! The ridges truly are magical. Each time hiking them brings a unique feeling of complete peace and well being.

well , this was great.. I consider this my home..and I've been away from it for 22 years now .. but my heart is still there -- thank you for allowing me to take that breath of air in a matter of minutes.. and be there..

You are quite welcome. I've been hiking up there for about 15 years now and absolutely love those ridges, lakes, caves, leaves, streams and vistas to the catskills! I find this area has a special magic with those quartz cliffs and talks of UFO's.
