@jxk2790 I never liked the way Matt Ferrigno talked down to Lou in Pumping Iron. He spoke to him like he was 3 years old.

He also sued his own father and brother for using the "ferrigno" name which they had used on fitness equipment called 'ferrigno fitness'. Lou despised his father after the movie Pumping Iron cause it made him look like a daddy's boy but his father said he will always be proud of his son no matter what. sad to say that Lou father died heart broken...Lou is a grade A douchebag

Louies dad Matt was NYPD. I don't know why he would want to volunteer to do this & put himself in harms way for free. Hopefully they don't have him answering road calls. Most likely they have him doing support functions.

Ah, it would be nice if revolvers would go back on standard for law enforcment, from .357 magnum or bigger. Because I see too much auto pistols and not enough revolvers is all.

Actually he's a reserve deputy. He only has to volunteer 20 hours a month mostly as P.R. (because of his celebrity status) for the department and gets paid a $1 a year in salary.
They are issued Beretta 92FS pistols. There's 3 levels of reservists and depending on which level Lou is his authority varies.
