Input lag test of LG 47LW5700 - Game Mode and renamed to PC

this is a quick test I made (recorded from my cellphone, so, don´t expect good quality here)

input lag around 100ms, if anyone knows how to reduce it, please, let me know.

I set the tv for game mode and renamed the hdmi input to PC, when renaming to PC, some configurations of the tv will automatically be turned off, but I got the same result letting it renamed to GAME.

pause at any time of the video and compare the values, sorry for the bad quality, I wasn´t even thinking in upload this video, but as couldn´t find anything on the web (video I mean), maybe it can be useful to someone.

Ah e pra finalizar, a entrada do console(hdmi) tem que ser a de nome jogo mesmo, não precisa ser de pc. Eu tinha desistido de jogar nessa tv, mas depois que vi esse procedimento eu nem levei fé pois já tentei de tudo, mas isso realmente funciona. Só tem que fazer sempre quando for ligar a tv pra jogar.

Pessoal, o imput lag é totalmente retirado ao fazer o seguinte procedimento:

1 - Atualizar o firmware do site (o ultimo)

2 - O mais importante: Vai em quick menu e em imagem seleciona imagem tipo vivo, depois volta pro tipo jogo faça isso duas vezes.

3 - Faça o procedimento acima na entrada de tv a cabo ou seja qual for tb em todas que vc tiver ativa.

4 - Pronto! O imput lag some totalmente e digo com propriedade pois eu sou chato com jogo. Só colocar no modo jogo não resolve, faça o "macete"!

i have the LG 42LW4500, and have the same lag, turning of TruMotion helps a lot, but not enough, how do you rename your hdmi to pc? and do you have other suggestions? thx in advance

@lanzemurdok I tried playing marvel pinball and it still horribel, but for other games that doesnt requires that precision you can play nicely, but for FPS games or any other that the timing is significant, it is still bad

@Hayness where do you get the 4.03 firmware ? In the LG Brazil website we have access to the 4.02.62 version.

@lanzemurdok yes, I still see the lag, the problem is that I was used to the 130~160ms lag, then it dropped to 70ms with the new firmware.. but I tried to play marvel pinball and it was pratically impossivel... still horrible =(
