Well i went to dootown when i was seven when i went to taz, but i cannot remember much but these vids managed to make me laugh about it anyway.

The real DooTown is a little run down these days... it's basically a beach shack town down south. We based the cartoon town more like Longford & Latrobe (Closer to where we live & less "Shanty town" ish.)

Yes it is a real town! Although it looks a little different to the cartoon. The real place is more of a beach hut holiday town (nice sea escape) ...they do have the name plaques on the houses like that though!
