Jamar Pierre's Young Audiences Mural Project at NORD Abramson

This past summer, artist and muralist Jamar Pierre (www.nolaredhot.com) teamed up with Young Audiences and the New Orleans Recreation Department to work with students at Abramson School to create a unique mural about New Orleans culture.

Hey Jamar, I'm a New Orleans artist still living in exile since Katrina. I work for Young Audiences up here in Kansas City, Mo. teaching murals in the high schools here. I gotta tell you I LOVE the work you're doing! I hope if I ever get to move home, I get to shake your hand and talk about the classes.
