A very unique and magical scene, which still gives me goosebumps. This movie actually stands out for me as the most recognizable and enjoyable youngster narrative ever ! Just like Mikey (Sean Astin) I had hayfever, so I instantly empathised with him. The moment in the well was really like: the whole world out there is irrelevant, this is our time, our moment... we can empower ourselves, have life's pursuits and dreams. Pursuing them, whatever the sacrifice, reminds us we're alive.
